Taketoshi Aono. Executive Officer and CTO at AI Shift, a CyberAgent company, where I have been a founding member since 2019. We build AI agents that organisations can put to work on their own domains and their own data.
Before that, CyberAgent from 2011: ad delivery, ad tracking, and a tag management service. Web frontend is where I come from, and TypeScript is still where I am most at home.
What I keep coming back to is how the machine underneath actually runs. I have contributed to V8, the JavaScript engine behind Chrome, Edge and Node.js, along with commander.js and adm-zip, and most of what I have spoken about publicly is the same subject seen from different angles: parsing, memory, regular expressions and Unicode, how WASM gets executed.
